How are you picking?

We're also encountering this issue and wanted to check if anyone has found a workaround. Has anyone had success with a different version of the file_picker package or by switching to a different Flutter channel?

It seems like the issue is specifically related to file_picker: 8.1.7 . To resolve this, you can try downgrading to file_picker: 8.1.6, which does not appear to have this problem.

In pubspec.yaml, explicitly replace the file_picker dependency to version 8.1.6.

dependencies:
  file_picker: 8.1.6

Make sure you do not include the ^ symbol, this way you can be sure you are using 8.1.6 version.
