Web-based system to create certificate and register user in the system at the same time.

Hello,

I'm interested in the certificate system for Mumble as a means to identify users on my Mumble server. I have an idea to implement a web-based system (possibly using simple PHP+MySQL) that includes the following features:

• Account Manager: A registration and approval system.
• Automatic SSL certificate generation (details not yet explored).
• The crucial step: Automatically registering the user in Mumble using the generated certificate.

My question is: "If I want to use the generated SSL certificate to create and register users in Mumble, what would be the best approach?"

I'm not familiar with DBUS and ICE, but if they are the only options available, I understand that they are unavoidable.

Yeah, Ice is the way to go. You'd simply make use of

mumble/src/murmur/MumbleServer.ice
