Have a look at the manual placement plugin. It only works if all participants make use of it though. |

As a user in a channel, I would like to listen to another channel but receive the audio in one ear only.
I believe Teamspeak3 has this feature called "3D audio", I have been using it in the past in a gaming configuration (Arma & Planetside2) where you need to monitor various conversations at the same time. It is a trick often used in aviation also where you have to operate sometimes on two frequencies and you setup one on each ear to avoid confusion as to whom you are listening and answering to.
I would very much like to be able to do this with Mumble also, with as much latitude as possible in how it is setup. For exemple members of a certain group could be 3D positioned in a different way than default stereo.
I looked and could not find how to do it right now, so I assume this is a feature request!
