how can my friend see and connect to my server

hello everyone, I'm new to this software, but I mostly figure it all out, I created a server , and opened a port and now i can connect normally to mine, but how can my friend find it to connect, I thought it will be visible went I open the port but he can find it while researching the server name

That's because the server only appears in our public list if it is registered.

Your friend can connect to the server via its public IP address.

You can also see it yourself, however it's not guaranteed that you can connect to it that way. It generally depends on the router's NAT configuration, i.e. whether it redirects packets destined for the public IP address also when they come from the internal network.
