I have 2 point clouds from 2 different data sources. Point cloud 1 has 2700 points in it and is arranged in 6 layers. I'm trying to match these points to another point cloud that has ~13,000 points. In between these, I have 160 co-registered points.
I figured since I have coregistered points, that any transformation would move all the points coherently, but what the algorithm does is fit the coregistered points and nothing else. I played with the parameters beta and lmd, but I'm not totally sure what they do.
Any ideas?
