Firefox console complains that a MIME type doesn't match and then says this:

Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<' in bundle.js:1

The MIME type of the response of the request to /bundle.js is set to text/html, which explains why the browser cannot parse the JS: it's not actually JS inside the response, it's HTML.
