Brew doesnot sync when MAC OS update is intsalled, Like I have app keepingyouawake installed before update to Mac OS Sequia but after that it got uninstalled by MAC but brew still shows its installed #5611

Brew can only keep track of the actions it performs. If a macOS update removes a cask there is nothing Homebrew can do to prevent or track that. |

I think brew only check the Celler or Caskroom path to check the app is installed or not.
if it is really uninstalled, just remove the path |

Thank you for the help mates, I was thinking if there should be a comand to just scan the Brew inventory and exclude paths those which really doesnot exists, after any upgrade or user uninstall. |

/opt/homebrew/Caskroom/keepingyouawake
and reinstall it.
