Description of issue

I'm trying to create a formula for xtermcontrol.

I got it working, but I don't know what to put in the license.

There's no LICENSE file in the repo and different files seem to have different licenses (GPL v3, GPL 2.1 or later, public domain, etc...).

How do I express that different files have different licenses in the license field?

If there is no license for the software it's not eligible for inclusion in Homebrew/core.

As general advice for software which may have different portions distributed under different licenses (the actual licensing situation of xtermcontrol notwithstanding), the all_of construct for the license field may be of use:

license all_of: ["MIT", "0BSD"]

Note that some combinations of licenses are inherently incompatible; the brew tool only provides a way to express a set of licenses which apply, it does not enforce or check the compatibility of licenses specified in the field.

I reached out to the developer and they added a license.

Looks like I can proceed with a GPL-2.0-or-later license.
