EdgeX 4.0 “Odesa” Release – Coming Soon

Hi all,

Just a quick update for those who may not have seen it - EdgeX 4.0 “Odesa” is scheduled for release at the end of February!

You can find the full details on the Odesa planning page, but in summary, this release introduces key new features, including:

• PostgreSQL as the default database
• A new time-based scheduling service
• New Python App Functions SDK
• Replacement of third-party components affected by open-source license changes to ensure full compliance with LF open-source principles
