Tidying the Messages

I've got some ideas for tidying the messages (making them more uniform).
Some good ideas and some which may need debating.

I'd like some volunteers, please.

Each task will involve a little code tweaking and a good bit of vim-fu (or scripting) to update the message files.

• 25 calls mutt_message() or mutt_error() that contain \n
• 105 Errors containing ! -- unnecessary
  Many already say 'Error' and error messages can be coloured
• Remove spaces before ? or !
• Change \" quotes to ' or rephrase and remove the quotes entirely, e.g.
  • File \"file.txt\" is missing
  • File missing: file.txt
• Simplify 300 simple messages ending in .
  Many of the messages aren't even sentences, so drop the trailing .
