Describe the solution you'd like

I am updating all my default cards to mushroom cards. And I filled in a mushroom template card with all options and I noticed that I entered the sensor name several times in an if-statement.
It would be great if it were possible to set a variable which I could use in the entire card. I know it is possible to do it per field.

BTW, today, the entity variable is available in template. (template doc)
