After some time I'm away from my keyboard and my mac goes to sleep, I cannot enter the password in the lockscreen as the keyboard is unresponsive.
Keyboard Used
geistmaschine/geist
EDIT:
All my QMK Keyboards
I brought some keyboards home from the office, and it's not specific to a model of keyboard.

AutoHotKey (Windows)
Karabiner (macOS)
Other keyboard-related software installed
No response
Additional Context
I couldn't pin-point exactly when it happens cause when I manually lock the screen and log in right away, there are no problems. The only solution I've found when it does is, manually rebooting by holding down my mac's power button. Unplugging the keyboard and re-plugging it does not work.

Does this happen with firmware compiled from the current QMK master or develop branches?
There is no qmk doctor output here. There is a commit indicating you are working with an outdated fork of Vial-QMK, which may not have the most recent changes to USB handling.
Please build and flash firmware using QMK master or develop and provide the output of qmk doctor if you still see this behavior.
