Is there a way to test the trades into a log file before making it live and sending real orders? I know the TDA api doesn't allow for sending orders to their papertrading system, but I'd like to see if there is at least a test mode to see what is being sent?

There may have been some kind of log file or interface to test real orders but I wasn't aware of it. Not sure if this helps, but one way I initially tested real orders with the TDA api was sending orders after trading hours or using limit orders with extreme limit prices ($0.10 limit on an asset trading at $75.00 for example).
