Feature: Say hello to your new member
  As a group manager
I would like to give some sort of welcome to a new member
In order to communicate approval and the new member feels welcome

Several new members joined our programming group in the past weeks, two of them last week. My host forwards the notification email to me, the coach of the group: Dear Rubies in the woods. XY has joined Rubies in the woods as a Student. You will see them at: ....
I would love to give them some sort of welcome message, but I can't (at least I don't know how).

I believe that I could improve the show up rate of new members with such a feature. New members on rorganize.it rarely join our group after we get the notification email. My assumption is that it still feels impersonal when you join a group and you never hear from the organizers. Maybe because it raises questions like: "Are they still active?" E.g. that concern could be overcome.

I like it!
We could start with a button in the UI that sends them a customizable email.
