"One finger tab one" not working properly on external trackpad.
It works fine on the MacBook internal trackpad.

  1. tab one: Set the top left corner to the "<-" arrow key.
  2. tab one when playing a YouTube video.
  3. works fine on macbook internal trackpad, but not on external trackpad.

Thank you.

Sorry for not replying sooner. For this gesture, there are not really any differences in logic for internal vs external trackpads, and if there is any difference in how Multitouch processes touches here, it would typically be that the internal one has more restriction since it is more likely to get unintentional touches.

I have noticed that sometimes with multiple bluetooth devices attached to my Mac, sometimes the responsiveness of the external trackpad degrades, and because of this I typically always plug it in. Aside from that, does adjusting where the touches on the trackpad are make any difference (like moving them closer to the center of the trackpad)? Also, maybe showing the touch viewer will lend us more insight? In the menu bar menu: Help : Debug : View Touches
