When using Adobe Illustrator and moving objects with the trackpad, there is a noticeable 1-second lag. This occurs only when Multitouch is running. When Multitouch is not running, the movement of objects in Illustrator works without any lag.

Illustrator and some other Adobe applications have issues when any other app listens to click events on the macOS event stream. Unfortunately, this would have to be fixed on Adobe's side, and the only workaround would be to disable functionality in Multitouch.

If you have "Drag window to screen edge to snap" enabled in the Window Management tab, try disabling it and see if that fixes the issue.

You can also disable gestures for Illustrator using the Multitouch menu bar menu.

I have plans to adjust the "disable gestures" toggle there to disable all the features in Multitouch instead of just gestures, and notify users of apps like Illustrator that have issues.

Disabling "Drag window to screen edge to snap" fixed the issue.
Thanks.
