Spotlight Pop-Up Search Bar & Results Window Not Recognised And Center Command Fails #552
Comments
Thanks for reporting. Is your expectation that only the center command affects the Spotlight search bar, or would commands like "left half" center it in the left half of the screen? |
The former, but the latter would be a great bonus!- the whole reason OCD me has the need to re-center the search bar is the occasional need to move it off-center out of the way when referencing something else there right smacked in the center of screen. So if "left/right-half" works to center it quickly to the left or right halves that would be certainly be an added bonus! :) |
Hi there, just following up as to whether this will be implemented in an upcoming release? Thanks. |
Thanks for checking in! I'm getting ready to do another round of bug fixing for Rectangle Pro and will take a look. |
Thanks Ryan! Hope this makes the cut, cheers! |
This ended up being more involved than I had anticipated, so it didn't make the cut this time around. I've saved my work on it and will return to it another time. Sorry! |
Okay thanks for informing. Looking forward to the next update! |
Rectangle Pro does not recognise the macOS Spotlight pop-up search bar and search results window, consequently it fails to center it when issued the command. Alternative app Magnet recognises and aligns the Spotlight search bar without issue so it would seem this is not a technical limitation.
