Sonic.Pi.Log.txt
I also found the log of the installation file

The firewall is turned off
The "hosts" is clean
I don't use antiviruses, I don't use Windows Defender either

I found some option, tried it tau.bat eval "IO.puts 'hi'"
Some mistake came out

Downloaded version 4.3 and everything works

Same issue happened to me today, downloaded 4.4 msi file for windows, installed on my windows 11 machine, restarted, execution failed with the above mentioned log. solved using version 4.3 as OP mentioned.

total punt, but another user on another os in the past tried these actions, which fixed (theirs then)

It works!
Audio didn't output when I first loaded (I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro using a Tascam US 2x2 USB audio interface).
To get it working, I checked "Invert Stereo", "Force Mono" and "Enable Audio Inputs" in the preferences, and restarted the app. This solved the problem, but I'm not sure which of these actions fixed it.

Got the same error on a fresh install of 4.5 with Windwos 11

Downgrading to 4.3 fixed it for me too
