Condensed matter and quantum information physicist by training and trade, I maintain several Python open source projects that I got involved with during my PhD. Those include:

  • Projects under the nucleic organization, among which enaml which is a declarative way to build high quality user interface and kiwisolver a layout constraint solver now used in Matplotlib.
  • PyVISA and PyVISA-py that allow to communicate with test devices such as oscilloscope and multimeters. It is widely used in physics lab nowadays
  • bytecode, a tool to generate and modify Python bytecode, which is used in enaml and outside.
  • Exopy, which is a data acquisition program I developed during my PhD and which is used by several teams in France
