Hello, my name is Constantine Nikolaou, I am a founding-member of MENAdevs

After starting MENAdevs as a "referred by members" online community on Slack back in 2015, I have built a web application, Tilde, to manage several aspects of the community:

1. A directory of existing members. Members can choose to make their profiles public or private.
2. A job board that members of the public can use to post jobs that are then distributed via email/Slack
3. Manage online events and partners' profiles

The web application is built with Ruby on Rails, Tilde, and is deployed to a dedicated environment on Digital Ocean. The domain names and email accounts for the community are all hosted on Gandi.net.

Funds from sponsorships will us pay for hosting service and fund future initiative as per the following list:

• Domain and Web Application hosting
• Hire talent to:
  • Maintain and improve Tilde web application
  • Make design improvements on the web application and emails
  • Build new features/functionalities (Check the backlog to get an idea on what we are planning)
• Fund hosting and maintaining other related projects, bosta (Slack bot), Objectron etc...

In return, a yearly report will be produced and shared publicly with MENAdevs sponsors.
