Describe the bug
"Loading" animation never seems to stop.

Appears to be similar to #166 and/or #167 but those are on macOS and I'm on Windows so I thought it would be better to create a new issue.

According to Progress spinner never stops spinning:

To fix the problem open the main dialog instead (right-click, choose first menu item). The main dialog is not affected by the resource limitation and will always show all available formhistory data. You can now delete some of your older entries to reduce the amount of data.

This issue is fixed in release 2.1.0.0 which will automatically limit the amount of data displayed by the popdown dialog as well as the amount of time it may take and show a warning message when data was discarded from the view. The new version will also provide the ability to automatically cleanup history to prevent this kind of problem to occur.

Opening the main dialog doesn't appear to fix the problem, and it also doesn't appear that release 2.1.0.0 resolves the issue. I'm on version 2.5.8.0.

To Reproduce
Use any of the methods described at Opening Form History Control except that the last method listed -- "The Tools menu in the menubar of the browser contains a Form History Control submenu from which you can either open the main dialog or access its preferences." -- doesn't exist at all (Firefox Toolbar->Menu->More Tools).

Expected behavior
It stops loading.

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro

Additional context
I wish I could at least get to the option to allow exporting so I can try to retrieve the data I need.
