Attachment Preview Does Not Work on Mac Desktop #7500

What happened?

When clicking on the eye a message come up "attachment preview failed"

Steps to reproduce the problem

Just click on the eye of an attachment. I tried with pdf

Version

v2.0.25 (240)

Platform/OS

macOS

Relevant log output

I don't know where to find that.  Images seem to work in Firefox but not pdf

I imported thousands of Evernote notes, many of which have attachments. If I can't see or open the attachment, this is a significant problem for me going forward.
