Upgrade to 3.5.0 breaks Steam Link and Sunshine

Describe the bug

I upgraded to the latest bazzite-deck-gnome:stable and both Steam Link and Sunshine stopped working. bazzite-deck:stable gives identical results, and only reverting to bazzite-deck-gnome:40-stable-20240611 got things working for me again.

This is a combination of sunshine still not being fixed and something newly broken in Steam Link.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected things to continue to work

hi @rcarmo can you try the newest update? as sunshine works for me atm (yes i know the issue is a bit old, sorry)
Cant say much about steam-link, it has kinda always had quirky issues with wayland

Still doesn't work with latest updates. The sunshine service core dumps upon startup.

we dont develop steam link, it has issues with wayland desktops, not our problem to fix as i said before.
we support sunshine which i have used repeatedly for months and it works (as long as the host device does not have a portrait display)
