New Cursor Update #7
Comments
New cursor update is more strict on checking HWIDs and on each run it overrides the file that is edited by this script. As a temporary workaround you can use my powershell script. irm feenko.lol/crt | iex You can see the source code by visiting the URL directly, hope this helps!

still saying trails error |
Before using the script make sure that you have logged out of the Cursor. Afterwards creating a new account will solve the problem. |
mac a newer version using bash that handles stuff but it's mac only https://github.com/krsjoseph/mac-reset |
hello feenko ! |
For my script to work, you need to use latest version. Latest versions now override telemetry data on startup and by changing stuff in registry Cursor changes most of values itself. Remember that you need to have a fresh account or contact support if that's mistake. |
Personally I just use TMAC and it works perfectly. |
For linux you can use Macchanger https://www.ubuntumint.com/change-mac-address-linux/ |
im pretty sure they patched it again. it doesn't seem to work |
Cursor now checks your Mac Address as well.
You can use TMAC to change it and it'll bypass the new system!
Would love to see it implemented on this repository.
