I have checked the following:

  • I use the newest version of bruno.
  • I've searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

Describe the bug

When running requests against APIs or other endpoints Bruno seems to use the browser as backend. This has the issue that existing sessions are used. Authentication cannot be tested this way. I often have to verify the request result using curl as Bruno gives me incorrect data if a browser session is used.

Please don't use existing browser sessions or make it configurable to use a clean session as curl does.

For example in the screenshot you can see some cookies were sent. Were are they coming from? They don't have to be send.

Hi @ponchofiesta , thanks for your feedback. I understand this happens for cookies but there's an option to disable it.

Go to Preferences -> General -> Send cookies automatically and you uncheck it.

Let me know if this works for you and if you have faced other issues around Bruno picking settings automatically without being set.

Thank you. I did some testing with these settings and it solves this issue.
