Would be great if we could embed the VanBUG google calendar into the website and the option to subscribe (I believe that is the shareable link).

Shareable calendar link: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/1?cid=dmFuYmlvaW5mb0BnbWFpbC5jb20

Public calendar URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=vanbioinfo%40gmail.com&ctz=America%2FVancouver

Embed code:
<iframe src="https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=vanbioinfo%40gmail.com&ctz=America%2FVancouver" style="border: 0" width="800" height="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

Let's have this on a new page.

@creisle do you have any time to make this happen before the next VanBUG session?

That being:

  • Make a separate calendar page
  • Embedded the calendar
  • Move the calendar subscription/ics/etc. info from the main page
  • Make it clear we post other community events

Do you want this with the schedule page or on its own?

I would prefer on it's own page, because I'm worried otherwise it'll be too cluttered, but am open to combining it if that's other peoples' preference.
