The image booted successfully on BIOS mode only. However, it had the quirk that mouse input didn't work until I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in.

On UEFI mode, it gets stuck as soon as it draws its silver-colored background. The USB drive I'm using has a light that blinks when it's being accessed, and it doesn't blink while the UEFI version is stuck.
