Reader: Unfollow tags from tags list in side menu

I'd expect to be able to unfollow tags from the tags list in Reader's side menu, especially because it's possible to add and discover new tags from there. Unlike theSubscriptions list, where we can unsubscribe from a context menu after long pressing a list item, long pressing a tag from the list does the same as a regula tap.

Besides selecting a tag, and tapping Unfollow button (not working at time of writing), unless I'm missing something, the only way to remove tags as of now is navigating to 'Discover' and tapping the 'interests' link, which is not a super intuitive location.

Btw, there is another way to unfollow – swipe from the trailing edge from the Reader menu.
