Situation:

  • one project / one git
  • three sub folders
  • three remote locations, one / folder

Each folder source should target different remote locations on the same host.

Solution. Configure .json:

  1. Write global settings:

    • transport
    • hostname
    • port
    • username
    • password
    • uploadOnSave
    • ignore
    • etc.

  2. Write uploadMirrors

    • source
    • target
    • only what differs from global. '', [], undefined for empty

In this way, adhering to DRY.
