Description

Validate that API Mediation Layer properly uses this new configuration for the Gateway service, which issues the message that the API Mediation Layer started.

This section doesn't provide any validation. Rather it shows how to set the configuration for one service "Gateway service". Validation implies some way to know that a configuration change has taken place. Secondly, does this only apply to Gateway service? Is it applicable to other services? Which ones?

It isn't applicable to other services. To get the specific API ML started message, only the gateway configuration is changed.
