FilterLists

Curated and custom modified adblock filterlists by Invise Labs, created for several unique purposes, such as whitelisting important domains that lists you add might clock, or lists blocking coinmining. These lists are often curated and merged from other lists to create the best experience possible. piHole, AdGuard, and other adblockers have performance issues when importing too many lists. We are aiming to create merged lists for specific categories.

WhiteList.txt: Safe Whitelisting for different common services and apps.

Here we attempt to unblock and whitelist domains that are safe and requried for many common apps and services without allowing telemetry.

Other Block List Options

This is a list of other possibly recommended blocking options, but may come at the cost of reducing functionality that some may use, so these options are not for everyone. However, in our office and on our business PCs we do not use many of these functions and find their use to be inappropriate (such as coinmining) in the workplace, so the potential for blocking malicious use far outweights the possible blocking of legit services that we never use in the workplace anyways.

BlockCoin.txt: Blocks Coin Mining

We have found many scam sites (and even some legit companies abusing coinmining) using JS-based coin mining crafted to use only 5 - 20% CPU, so that the mining operation remaims undetected. We have found no real way to detect these occurrences as the JS code changes frequently and is obfuscated, thus we propose that if coinmining and cryptocurrency is NOT in use, then it may be blocked to prevent both dishonest use and malicious use, and should be done network-wide.
