Overview

  • Download and install from the WordPress Plugin Directory - 🚀 Initialises the latest OneSignal Web SDK (v16).
  • ⏩ Automatically sends Push Notifications when a WordPress post is published.
  • 💬 Setup prompts within the OneSignal dashboard. No custom code required.
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Choose which Segment should recieve notifications for each post.
  • 📑 Web Topics included by default.
  • 📲 Send to mobile app subscribers, with an option to direct them to a different URL (Deep Link).

few questions @marclucraft :

  • who is current owner of this work?
  • are there Asana tickets? I'd like to bring them over to our Notification sprint or understand the history of this work.
  • Can users directly upgrade from the previous version of the plugin without breaking anything?
  • Could you walk me through the upgrade process?
  • Has this been tested on a fresh empty wordpress install and an install using the old version of the plugin? Will upgrading break a working install?
  • Is Auto-update disabled for the plugin? Can we control that?
