Since some time github offers new ubuntu 24.04 arm images (see https://github.blog/changelog/2025-01-16-linux-arm64-hosted-runners-now-available-for-free-in-public-repositories-public-preview/) so the images shoudl also be built for aarch64 / arm64. This brings us a step closer to ditch the qemu variant for building arm64 apps in github actions and just use tghe native runners.
