OSX or macOS Homebrew
Install Jekyll
sudo gem install jekyll
Check rubygems is in your paths
sudo nano /etc/paths
Install Ruby We're going to use rbenv to install and manage our Ruby versions.
brew install rbenv ruby-build
echo 'if which rbenv > /dev/null; then eval "$(rbenv init -)"; fi' >> ~/.bash_profile
source ~/.bash_profile
rbenv install 2.5.0
rbenv global 2.5.0
ruby -v
gem install bundler
bundle install

Use bundle env
to check your local environment
Start Jekyll and watch for changes (jekyll serve --watch
)
LIKE THIS
bundle exec jekyll serve
Open http://localhost:4000/ in your browser

gulp purify-css
If you have permission problems installing Ruby gems, use the --user-install option
gem install livereload --user-install
