FTP ACCESS

Connect to gatekeeper.hpl.hp.com with your local FTP command.  Login as user 
"anonymous", and use your email address as the password.  Below is a typical 
anonymous FTP login example.  (Case doesn't matter, uppercase is used here 
for illustration.)

$ ftp gatekeeper.hpl.hp.com
Connected to gatekeeper.hpl.hp.com.
220- *** /etc/motd.ftp ***

    [ message of the day deleted ]     

220 gatekeeper.hpl.hp.com FTP server (Version 5.182 Mon Apr 3 17:48:00 PDT 2000) ready.
Name (gatekeeper.hpl.hp.com:schedler): ANONYMOUS
331 Guest login ok, send ident as password.
Password: MYNAME@MYDOMAIN
230 Guest login ok, access restrictions apply.

Using binary mode to transfer files.

Use the "cd" command to move between directories; the "ls" command to list
directory contents; and, the "get" command to retrieve files.
