Kubernetes has become the defacto standard for containerized services. Custom operators allow configuration of third-party services within the the kubernetes so your monitoring definition is tightly coupled to the deployment, simplifying overall configuration.

With this milestone, we seek to move this project into the public space, and bring it in line with several of the other open source projects from New Relic.
