How to report an issue

If you encounter a problem with the plugin, we encourage you to report it in our Issues Panel. Please look for similar issues that may be opened at the time to avoid duplicates.

To help us investigate and resolve the issue efficiently, please provide the following information:

  • Describe the error: Explain the problem you’re experiencing. Is the plugin failing to export a file, or are you having trouble importing the file into Penpot?
  • Share the error if visible in the dev tools: Check if you can see the error in the dev tools. You can open the dev tools in the following menu:

  • Share your Figma file: If possible, provide the Figma file you’re trying to export, or at least a smaller section of the file where the issue can still be reproduced.
  • Private file sharing: If you prefer not to share your file publicly on GitHub, you can email it to [email protected], and a team member will review it.

Providing detailed information will help us address the issue more effectively.
