I work on the Rust compiler on my off-time. My work focuses on pattern matching: I maintain the exhaustiveness checker and pattern MIR lowering code, and participate in the design of pattern-related features.

I have significantly contributed to the implementation and/or design of: slice patterns, or patterns, half-open range patterns, never patterns, guard patterns, and the 2024 match ergonomics rework.

I am a member of the compiler and lang-advisor teams.
