ICU4X 1.0 RC

1.0 beta

Issues to be done in Q4, in preparation for v0.2.

Major release on top of 0.2/0.3.

Post-0.2 cleanup, early prep for 0.3

After 0.3 but before 0.4

Minor release focused on cleanup, performance optimizations and minor additions on top of the 0.2 feature set.

Timezones, Date & Time Day Periods and Components, Locale Likely Subtags, Unicode Properties L3a, Fixed Decimal and Pattern Utils.

In the latter part of October, after 0.1 we will focus on cleaning up the backlog, resolving open discussions, and lowering the number of open issues before we engage in 0.2 work.

ICU4X is aiming to get ready for the initial 0.1 (early alpha) release of the meta-package ICU4X.

The aim of the initial release is to collect the first set of components backed by the DataProvider and release them to the public for evaluation and testing.
